The stock closed-loop system heat soaks quickly when the engine is worked hard. Riva’s open-loop kit feeds a constant supply of cool outside water through the engine for far better cooling and reliability.
Dropping the heat exchanger also frees up space to mount the Riva Performance Ride Plate.
